Madonna, the pop icon, is facing legal troubles for her late shows in New York. Two fans have filed a lawsuit against her and Live Nation, the concert organizer, for ‘false advertising’ and ‘unfair and deceptive trade practices’. They claim that Madonna showed up two hours late for three nights at Barclays Center in December 2023, despite having health issues that postponed the original dates from July. The fans are seeking unspecified damages for the tickets they bought, which ranged from $155.90 to $292.50. Madonna’s tardiness has sparked backlash from many of her fans, who vented their frustration on social media. Some demanded refunds, while others called her ‘rude’ and ‘boring’. Madonna’s team explained that the delay was due to technical issues and soundcheck problems, but that did not appease the angry crowd.
