Nashville High Property Tax
Is Nashville quickly becoming the next San Fransico Bay Region? Housing was in line with other Tennessee cities 4 or 5 years ago where you lived comfortably in $70.000 homes. In fact, East, West Tennessee has numerous listings in the $50.000 number, and the equivalent today in Nashville skyrocketed costing you $200.390. Anything lower investors are in the loop renovating then flipping for $350.000 Corporate investor's gentrification, housing, sudden 38% increase to an already high property tax to pay for the tax breaks Amazon, Dell Computer, HCA, and many others drain from Nashvillians in the name of "JOBS" that politicians sell to Nashvillians same throughout the US but the facts show those relocating and hired purchase homes, shop and pay taxes in the surrounding counties. The city does not benefit from the so-called revenue I would argue the surrounding counties and city mayors are the beneficiaries from these corporate deals. The politicians create traffic problems then sell this idea of an obsolete rail system that doesn't go to county lines where it would address the problem they created. Nashville is not dense enough after rush the main arteries are deserted and the traffic is in the shopping areas outside of the county. Stay tuned as I put together a platform describing how the system is not in the working class favor and the truth about the politics in America. Border wall? If you don't hire them, they won't come. Enforce the laws and lock up that greedy corporation that encourages cheap labor that couldn't move the land overseas. Your thoughts are welcomed insults are not.
