Saints Michael, Gabriel & Raphael | Feast of the Archangels | Catechism for Kids (September 29)
On September 29, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Archangels: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. 👼✨ In this episode of Catechism for Kids, children will learn: ✅ Who the Archangels are and what their names mean ✅ The role of Saint Michael (protector, patron of soldiers, police, and paramedics) ✅ The role of Saint Gabriel (messenger of God, patron of messengers, broadcasters, and expectant mothers) ✅ The role of Saint Raphael (healer and guide, patron of travelers, the sick, and medical workers) The Archangels remind us that God sends His holy angels to protect us, guide us, and bring us His messages of love. 📖 Scripture: “Michael and his angels fought against the dragon…” (Revelation 12:7) “I am Gabriel, who stand in the presence of God.” (Luke 1:19) “I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand and serve before the Lord.” (Tobit 12:15) Liturgical Color: ⚪ White (angels, not martyrs) 🙏 Catechism for Kids helps children (and families!) grow in their Catholic faith with joyful, simple, and faith-filled lessons about saints, feast days, Scripture, and Church teaching.
