The actors filmed most of their scenes together, and Yang mused that was challenging for him.[8] On February 1, 2025 Hwang Dong-hyuk mentioned that Thanos' presence will be felt this season.[9] On February 4, 2025 the return of The VIPs was teased.[10] On February 8, 2025 Wi Ha-joon acknowledged that audiences may have been disappointed with his lack of screen time in the second season , but promised that it was all part of a longer and bigger story stating: "I do understand that, from the audience's point of view, it might have been disappointing. But from my perspective, I know this is part of the longer and bigger story, so I wasn’t disappointed at all.
