How to wake someone GENTLY

READ ME!!! Ok so my friends Shyrina and Julia were over and Julia fell asleep in my room. Her mom then called and so I went to go wake her up. I woke her up nicely and then she got up and walked to the couch. I then walked over to her and woke her up again and told her her mom was on the phone she then said to me "No she's not" and went back to sleep. So I then asked shyrina to go try to wake her up. Shyrina tried twice with the same result. So we took action and slapped her awake.
