November 20, 2022: Christ The King | Saint Luke Chicago
A warm welcome to all who are gathered in the name of Christ today. Even though we are physically distanced, we remain spiritually connected. Please visit our website for access to the bulletin and more online resources visit stlukechicago.org/church Prayer requests may be shared via stlukechicago.org/prayer The Church’s year comes to a conclusion this morning in the celebration of Christ the King. On this day our salvation history presents its final and still to be accomplished chapter: Christ, enthroned in glory, returns to reclaim his redeemed. On the altar, the varied colors of the growing season are gathered into golden sheaves and veiled in a white light that unifies the group yet allows its diversity to shine through. This is the grand finale of the church year. All is accomplished. The faithful return with Christ to the paradise he won for them. Together we will raise a hymn of grateful praise at our annual Thanksgiving Hymn Festival. The festival is hosted by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (1218 W Addison St) today, Sunday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend in-person, the service will be live-streamed.
