Portal 2 PeTI | Useless OoB Glitch

So after seeing imanex's potential peekaportal discovery, I thought i might give it a go myself. That's when i stumbled upon this. Basically all i'm doing is shooting a blue portal as close as possible to the door and getting as close as i can into it while then shooting a second one anywhere else without moving. This somehow decides to push me out of bounds below the starting room instead of pushing me back inbounds. I haven't been able to replicate this glitch anywhere else in a PeTI map or in any valve maps.
