As the world prepares for Halloween celebrations, Satanist turned Evangelist John Ramirez issues a warning against Christian parents who dress their kids as witches and devils on the eve of Halloween and says celebrating the event is a bad idea. Ramirez, in an interview with Christian Broadcast Network, explained why Christians should not celebrate Halloween and elaborated on the dangers behind it. Even though the idea behind celebrating the festival seems harmless at first, Ramirez said that families celebrating Halloween, knowingly or unknowingly summon the devil to their surroundings. Ramirez also reminded Anton Lavey, the founder of the satanic church, had revealed his admiration for the Christian parents, who dress their children as witches or devil for ‘abandoning’ their Christian practices even for a day, and fully embracing the spirit of Satan. He also opined that Christians who celebrate Halloween must understand they are cheating Jesus Christ by taking part in Halloween celebrations and said “Why Christians should celebrate Halloween, as we don’t see Satanists embracing Jesus Church or attending church. Ramirez, who was a member of the Church of Satan was groomed into the cult at the young age of eight and was an active member for 25 years. He was nicknamed as “Son of Lucifer” and assumed the position of warlock in the church of Satan. Ramirez said he used to hallucinate having meetings with Satan, who discussed about destroying the entire mankind. But after facing a near-death experience, he felt that the ‘Spirit of Jesus’ entered the body and promised himself that he would not turn back to his old ways. After fully denouncing Satanism and he stepped into the world of evangelism by starting his new ministries. His ministries now focuses on spreading the dangers of Satanism and are credited for bringing the number of Satanists into the path of Jesus.
