Love in Motion While the Song of Songs from the First Reading speaks of the love between a couple, we can reflect on our own love for God and His love for us. Love is not static but dynamic, and it moves, just as in the Gospel where John the Baptist leapt for joy in his mother's womb when Mary visited Elizabeth, making Mary the first evangeliser as she brought the Good News within her. Do we, like Mary, also carry God with us as we meet others and bring joy to them? We reflect: Is my heart awakened with the love of God and how have I prepared the crib of my heart to welcome Christ?
