One of my best friends Komal and her Husband Nick joined me for Christmas dinner. We had a lot of fun shooting this video. It was Nick's first time on my channel. Ingredients: (Yakhi) 2 lbs Beef Ribs. 1/2 Onion. 1/2 inch Ginger. 4-5 cloves Garlic. 1 Dry Bayleaf. 1 Anise Star. 1 Cinnamon stick. 2 Black Cardamoms. 4 Green Cardamom. 1 tsp Coriander seeds. 6-7 Cloves. 3 dry Red Chili Pepper. Ingredients: Oil. Pinch of Cumin seeds. 1/4 Onion. 1 cup of Rice.(Soak the rice for 30 minutes) 1 Dry Bayleaf. 4 Cloves. 2 Black Cardamom. 4 Green Cardamoms. 6-7 Whole Black pepper. Recipe: Add all the ingredients for yakhni in the pressure cooker. Add 3 cups of water. Bring it to a boil. Pressure cook for 15 minutes. Remove the mutton pieces and strain the broth. Keep it aside. In a pan add oil and cumin seeds and onion. Fry until its golden brown. Add bayleaf, cloves, green cardamom, black cardamom, and whole black pepper. Fry for a minute. Add chops. Fry for 1-2 minutes. Add 2 cups of broth. Bring it ta a boil. Add rice. Cook on high heat until broth is absorbed. Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes on medium low heat. Use fork to fluff the rice. Beef Pasta. Ingredients: 1 lbs Minced Beef. 2 cups Cooked Pasta. 1 Onion. 1 tsp minced Garlic. 1 tsp minced Garlic. 2 Tomatoes. 1 tsp Salt. 1 tsp Paprika. 1/2 cup Tomato Paste. 1/2 Green Bell pepper. 1/2 Red Bell pepper. Fresh Cilantro. Recipe: In a pan add oil and butter. Add onion. Sauté until translucent. Add minced ginger-garlic. Cook for and minute and add minced beef. Fry for 1-2 minutes and add tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until tomatoes are soft. Add salt and paprika. Keep cooking. Add tomato paste. Mix well. Add 1/4 cup of water. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add green and red bell peppers. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add boiled pasta. Mix well. Cover and cook on low heat. Just until cheese melts. Add fresh cilantro. Chicken Curry. Ingredients: (For Marinate) 1 whole Chicken. 1 tsp Salt. 1 tsp Red Chili powder. 1/2 cup Yogurt. Ingredients: (Curry) Pinch of Cumin seeds. 1 Cinnamon stick. 1 Anise star, 3-4 Green Cardamom. 1 Onion. 1 tsp minced Ginger. 1 tsp minced Garlic. 1 tsp Coriander powder. Fresh Cilantro. Recipe: In a bowl add chicken. Add salt, red chili powder and yogurt. Mix well. Marinate for 1-2 hours. In a pan add oil and onion. Fry until light brown. Add cumin seeds and fry for 30 seconds. Add cinnamon stick, green cardamom, anise star. Add ginger-garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Add marinated chicken. Fry until the chicken changes color. Add little bit of water. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. It's done. Potato Patties. Ingredients: 3-4 Medium Potatoes. 1 Onion. Cilantro. Green chili pepper. 1 tsp Salt. 1 tsp Paprika. 1 tap Coriander powder. Pinch of Cumin seeds. 2 Eggs. Recipe: Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash the potatoes. Add salt, paprika, coriander powder and cumin seeds. Mix well. Add onion, cilantro and green chili pepper. Add 1 egg yolk and mix well. Make patties. Add 1 whole egg to the egg white. Beat the egg. Coat the potato cutlet in the egg and fry. Cook on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Serve with Green Chatney or ketchup.
