A BAPTISM OF DIVINE LOVE Thursday 21st November 2024 Every believer has a mandate of progressing from a place of believing to a place of knowing especially knowing how much God loves them. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. There was nothing good in us but God in His love came after us by sending His only son to die for us; reconciling us to Him. If He loved us in our worst state, how much more now that we have been reconciled! It is this knowing that stabilizes your walk with Him. Ephesians 3:14-19 The foundation of our lives should be His love. The stability you need in your walk with God is grounded in the assurance of His love for you. And when you are convinced of His love, nothing, good or bad can move you. James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Just as Silver and gold go through the furnace to be refined so is our faith in Him. That's why God sent the Holy Spirit to live inside us to flood our hearts with His love so that no circumstance can make us doubt His love (Romans 5:5) Satan often gains an upper hand in our lives during tough times, but we must reach a place where we have fully captured the revelation of God's love to be swayed. His love is the winning formula. (Romans 8:35-36, 1 Corinthians 13:13) 1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. God is love, and nothing else moves Him. The atmosphere of heaven is love, and the world craves it, yet it is filled with hunger, jealousy, and envy because God's love hasn't found a place in people's hearts. When filled with God's love, pride cannot prevail. Love is the antidote to every evil we face today (1 Peter 4:8, Galatians 5:22). If Jesus prayed that; "Father, let the love with which the you loved me be in their hearts", then it is right for us to pray the same prayer and tell Him to fill our hearts with love.
