Welcome to Rev Fr Alphonsus Eromosele Ahiaegbe's channel TODAY’S REFLECTION Today’s Gospel reminds us of the true measure of kinship with Jesus. While Mary is blessed as His mother, her deeper greatness lies in her lifelong obedience to God’s will. From her “yes” at the Annunciation, to treasuring God’s word in her heart (Luke 2:19), and standing faithfully at the foot of the Cross, Mary shows us that true relationship with Christ is rooted in listening to God’s word and living it out. Biological ties, as precious as they are, are surpassed by the spiritual kinship born of faith and obedience. We too become Jesus’ brothers and sisters when we open our hearts to His word and put it into practice daily. Like Mary, may we allow God’s will to shape our choices and lead our lives.
