Great Lent- Sixth Hour of Wednesday- Qolo Quqoyo

This is the Malayalam translation of the Qolo (set in the Quqoyo tone) that is chanted as part of the Sixth Hour prayers on Wednesdays in Great Lent. The English translation is: Come 'Grace' and beseech with us as usual, for the world is looking at you as a compassionate mother. Bring with you peace (shlomo) and tranquility (shino) and spread out your wings upon this sinful generation. You, who bear the keys of the house of God, open the door of repentance, to the repenting sinners. Halleluiah and Halleluiah. If sinners have sinned and went astray by their deeds; Have pity O Lord upon the infants, for you did become an infant. Have pity on the priests who have extolled you in the sanctuary, and upon the laborers who call upon you daily. Have pity, O Lord on the souls of who have fallen into afflictions, and give command that they may come to relief to live in your hope. Halleluiah and Halleluiah.
