Pokemon Legends Z-A crashes at Mable's Research Lab

There are some versions of Pokemon legends ZA that crash at Mable’s research laboratory. This is at the beginning of the game when you are getting the rock smash TM. This occurs regardless of the type of emulator used. This crash is caused by a problem with the ROM. Not due to a problem with the emulator. This crash occurs with the 4.01GB version of the ROM. The 4.02GB version of Pokemon Legends ZA does not have this problem. You will have to use a different version of the ROM. As always please make sure you obtain your ROMS legally.
