The Parable of the Sower - Luke 8:4-15 - NIV - on SALVATION

"For many are called, but few are CHOSEN". King James Bible https://biblehub.com/matthew/22-14.htm The Parable of the Sower is a well-known teaching of Jesus The Christ (in Hebrew: Yeshua Ha Mashiach, The JEWISH Messiah), found in the New Testament of the Bible, specifically in the books of Matthew (Matthew 13:1-23), Mark (Mark 4:1-20), and Luke (Luke 8:4-15). Matthew 22:14 declares "For many are called, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN." The Bible expresses that the "chosen" are those who follow God's COMMANDMENTS ( including OBSERVANCE OF SHABBAT, GENESIS 2:3 ) - following the same TORAH that Yeshua followed (EXODUS 12:49, NUMBERS 15:16). Mark 12:30-31 - "AND THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." Luke 8:4-15 https://biblehub.com/niv/luke/8.htm 4) While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5) “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. 6) Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7) Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8) Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.” When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” 9) His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10) He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’" 11) This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12) Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that THEY MAY NOT BELIEVE AND BE SAVED. 13) Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing THEY FALL WAY. 14) The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way THEY ARE CHOKED BY LIFE'S WORRIES, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15) But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, RETAIN IT, AND BY PERSERVERING produce a crop. Revelation 14:12 declares: "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND THE FAITH OF JESUS." See:    • Christianity Is a Mess, but Finding Jesus’...   Revelation 22:14 states "BLESSED ARE THEY THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have right to THE TREE OF LIFE, and may enter in through the gates into the city.." John 14:15 "IF YOU LOVE ME, keep My commandments". And in John 10:30 Yeshua declares ""I and my Father are One." In Christianity salvation is a central and foundational concept. It is the belief that through faith in Yeshua Ha Mashiach, individuals can be reconciled with God, forgiven of their sins, and granted eternal life. The specific details of salvation in Christianity can vary somewhat between denominations, but there are some common beliefs: Faith in Yeshua Ha Mashiach: The cornerstone of Christian salvation is faith in Yeshua as the Son of God and the Savior of humanity. Christians believe that Yeshua's life, death, and resurrection provide the means for the forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God. John 3:16 is a well-known verse that encapsulates this belief: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." James 2:18 in addition states: "But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works." Repentance is often seen as an essential step toward salvation. It involves recognizing one's sins, feeling remorse for them, and turning away from a sinful lifestyle. Repentance is closely linked to confession and seeking God's forgiveness. Grace: Many Christian denominations emphasize that salvation is a gift of God's grace. This means that it is not earned through good works or human effort but is freely given by God to those who believe in Yeshua. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ultimately, the concept of salvation in Christianity emphasizes a personal relationship with Yeshua Ha Mashiach and the belief that through faith in God's grace. ============= Check out my other videos @:    / @norm5959
