Jochen Kopf's music box collection: a special christmas programme with an 11" Adler disc

With this new upload I wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy, healthy new year 2025, which will hopefully be more peaceful than 2024. My great highlight 2024 was without doubt my visit to Utrecht/NL in September at the auction, where I bought the cylinder music box, which I presented in October, together with one of the 24 discs of different brands, from which I can only use 4 on my machines. Today I present the 2nd one, an 11" Adler disc, playing a popular christmas song. But before that, I play something on the piano, with special greetings to some friends: Jens and Bianca Bertrams (Kopf and Köpfchen), who also were near Utrecht almost 2 weeks ago. You'll hear an excerpt from the orchestral suite "The inner light" from the "Star Trek", together with a tune from the 19th century, which I heard live in October 2019 at Vincent Freeman Antiques in London on a cylinder music box with bells. These 2 pieces come as a "mixed double". After that, I present the Adler disc, playing "O sanctissima (O du Fröhliche)". All the best to you for 2025, and I hope you will enjoy the video.
