How to Change 11th Gen 2004-08 F-150 Cabin Air Filter If you are new to the 11th gen 2004-08 F-150 platform, you are understandably looking for filters to change on your new-to-you truck. Despite some websites having filters that appear to be compatible with this generation of F-150, there is NO cabin air filter on these trucks. For whatever reason, Ford did not equipment F-150's with cabin air filters until 2015. There was a very rare 10th gen (1997-2004 F-150 Heritage) dealer installed cabin air filter. That rare option is where the cabin air filters are coming from and they DO NOT fit the newer trucks. I have seen this question posted so much over the years and figured it would help some new comers realize there is no cabin air filter to change.
