It is a remake of legendary Halo: Combat Evolved (2001), developed by Bungie and published in 2001 by Microsoft Game Studios for Xbox and then ported to PC in 2003. Halo is set in 26th century, where the main protagonist is Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier. Chief is accompanied by an artificial intelligence called Cortana.
