Tuesday, September 16, 2025 - Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 7:11-17 At that time, 11 Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd were with him. 12 When he came to the town gate, behold, a dead man was being carried out, his only son; and his mother was a widow. A large crowd from the town followed her. 13 When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep!" 14 He went over and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stopped. Then Jesus said, "Young man, I say to you, arise!" 15 The dead man sat up and began to speak. And Jesus gave him back to his mother. 16 They were all filled with awe and praised God, saying, "A great prophet has appeared among us, and God has come to visit his people." 17 And news of this spread throughout all Judea and the surrounding region.
