The couple met at middle school but "never in a million years" would they have predicted what would come next for them. At the age of just 15, Trina found out she was pregnant for the first time - and, as Wilson told Truly: "It was a big turning point at that time. My whole perspective changed on life." When their first son, Amir (now 2 years old), was born the parents suddenly had to juggle high school with parental responsibilities such as "working, dropping the kids off at daycare, doctors appointments." Then, last year, having just turned 18, Trina found out she was pregnant again - she gave birth to their second son, Jace, four months ago. Both children have medical conditions, adding extra responsibility onto Trina and Wilson's young shoulders - but they have taken it all in their stride, despite judgement from people online after the teen parents decided to share their family's story on TikTok. They have often been told that they "shouldn't have children so young" and people assume Wilson is going to leave Trina to parent their sons on her own. But the pair are stronger than ever - and they have had to be in order to ride out turbulent relations with Trina's parents, who they live with. When he first found out his daughter was pregnant, Trina's dad "didn't want to see or talk to" Wilson and initially blocked him from seeing Amir when he was first born. Trina's stepmom Maria was similarly disappointed, but they eventually allowed Wilson to move in and support Trina in raising their new son. When Trina told her parents she was pregnant for the second time, though, old wounds reopened - and Trina has still not discussed that rocky period with stepmom Maria since Jace was born. So today, as they sit down together for the first time, will the family come to blows? Or will Trina and Wilson be able to move forward with the full support of Trina's parents?
