In this video, I discuss the original superhero blockbuster, Superman (1978), also called Superman the Movie. Superman (1978) stars Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman and Margot Kidder and was directed by Richard Donner. The film saw tensions and problems during it's production especially between producers the Salkind's and director Richard Donner. The film turned out to be well received and became the first big budget superhero film.
