David Fincher's Spider-Man Teaser Trailer (Fan Made)

“It was much more of the guy who’s settled into being a freak.” A fan teaser edit for David Fincher’s proposed Spider-Man plot. ----------- I had this idea stuck in my head back in 2017. Now it’s finally here with my favorite songs of all time in piano style! I’ve been working on this since July and it wasn’t hard to make. I was going to upload this back in Spider-Man’s birthday but I decided to delay in the last couple of weeks of August. The concept idea is to make it a what if this one came out in the early 2000s instead of Raimi’s first Spider-Man film? The style for the edit is to make it more grounded and realistic similar to the Nolan trilogy, the Netflix Daredevil show, and obviously Fight Club. I’ve used some references to the source material from the comics and minor changes to Fincher’s pitch. I do have to admit but my plot and editing here is heavily inspired by John Nostamos Spider-Man edits (Breakdown & Pre Homecoming) and bloodrunsclear due to the aesthetics, darker and smooth editing. For the Spider-Man casting, I’ve chosen Edward Norton since his acting and his character in Fight Club looks so similar to the late 80s Spidey back then! I was using Tommy Lee Jones for the Green Goblin while working on this but I decided touse Michael Douglas after watching His 90s film, The Perfect Murder. You can hear Lee’s voice in the Goblin laughing part. I’ve used Gwetheth Paltrow as Gwen since she worked with David Fincher before in Seven. I showed some the aftermath of Gwen getting killed but I didn’t show how she died. ————- Synopsis (Similar to the original): Peter Benjamin Parker has been Spider-Man in the last 22 years. He graduated high school, got a bachelor's degree as a science teacher, a menace, and a vigilante. He planned on marrying his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. However, Peter’s life has been slowly becoming a downfall lately such as his Aunt May getting Alzheimer, distancing himself from Harry, MJ, and Gwen. He defeated the Green Goblin but not Norman Osborn! Osborn recovered his memories and his sinister ego came back after his battle with Spider-Man. Now he’s coming back to destroy Peter Parker and the ones that he loves the most.
