super mario galaxy 2. part 3(FINALE)

We finally finish the base game of Mario Galaxy 2, and I got to be honest... I wasn't expecting my childhood feelings of playing this game to betray how I feel about it now. Mario Galaxy 2 is a fun game, but it's a game without much context, While narrative isn't something I really care about in Mario games at all. I feel Mario Galaxy is something that can't be fully separated from it's story. The cinematic feeling of Galaxy 1 and the backstory of Rosalina made for a really enjoyable experience that I feel it was going to be hard for Galaxy 2 to live up to. The level design was fun in 2 but it was definitely weaker in my opinion.
