PHANEROO~DEVOTION Thursday, 15th February 2024 Apostle Grace Lubega 1 Corinthians 9:24-25(KJV): Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. RUN TO WIN II Our theme scripture gives an analogy of a race, the end game of which is winning as explained in yesterday's devotion. However, there is a qualification on how this winning comes about. The Bible says any one who wishes to win must be temperate in all things. There are laws, principles and patterns that God has set in motion to define success in any arena of life. So, success is not by mistake. I have said it often enough that any man who succeeds by mistake will also fail by mistake. If you succeed by the patterns and principles, you will be sustained by those same patterns and principles. Now that you understand that you are in this game to win, you must ask yourself, ‘how do I win?’ How do I win in ministry? In my career? In business? In my relationships? Most people fail, not out of a lack of desire to win but ignorance of the principles required to win. The choice is yours: to study, yield, pray and apply yourself to the principles and patterns of success. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Hosea 4:6; Proverbs 4:5-9 GOLDEN NUGGET: Success is not by mistake. Any man who succeeds by mistake will also fail by mistake. If you succeed by the patterns and principles, you will be sustained by those same patterns and principles. PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I receive today's wisdom and know that it pushes me further and higher in my journey of salvation. I know what I must do to succeed because the principles and patterns of the spirit are activated in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
