Michael Jackson - Billie Jean | Dangerous Tour Studio Recreation (Mid-Tour)
Track 12) Billie Jean (Mid-Tour) This version is based off of the middle section of the tour, so from Hamelin/Leeds/Glasgow all the way to Bucharest. There's quite a few more concerts included in this section, and the only reason I didn't make it equal between this one and the early tour version is because starting with Glasgow (Maybe Hamelin? It's hard to tell), the bass swells start to be included. For the overall sound I really just tried to make it sound as close to Bucharest (edited) as I could, since everyone is familiar with it and apart from the ridiculous crowd it does sound great. However, out of the 5 versions, this is probably my least favorite. There's not really anything crazy happening in this one, and it was kinda hard to mix. I still like it, just not as much as the others. Sadly, there's literally no pro footage available for this part of the tour except for Bucharest. That being said, I used as much HQ Bucharest footage as I could without the video getting blocked, then filled in the rest with the BNN version and Bremen. I chose Bremen because it's the closest one to the "mid section" of the tour that we have in pro. Also because of this, I used quite a few vocals from Bremen, seeing as Bucharest doesn't quite give the best results when it comes to filtering (mainly on the verses).
