Atlanta Police give update on spa shooting investigation

On Thursday, law enforcement officials in Atlanta held a press conference to discuss Tuesday evening's tragic shootings at three spas. Eight people have died, with most of the victims being Asian women. The shooter, Robert Aaron Long, allegedly denied that the act was racially motivated and claimed his sex addiction was the reason for the shooting. Long is facing multiple counts of murder and one count of assault. He did not appear in court Thursday. The Atlanta Police Department said the investigation is still ongoing and that it is separate from the investigation being conducted in Cherokee County. The names of the victims in Atlanta were not released as the department works to verify identity and notify next of kin.
