Barclay: has to be Brexit deal without backstop

(23 Sep 2019) Britain's secretary of state for exiting the European Union said on Monday in Prague that any withdrawal deal with the EU must be "without the backstop". "It has to be a deal that the United Kingdom Parliament will pass", said Stephen Barclay, who added that the backstop was not "in keeping with the Belfast Good Friday Agreement".
