Every day, we send our children and grandchildren out into a world that is often crooked, rotten, selfish, and mean--and we send them out to be different, as part of God's new thing in the world, vulnerably to be reflections of Jesus' way. Why do we do it? We dare to believe God will indeed work through them like Zechariah trusted God would work through his son, John.
