Second, we must be able to see Jesus, the Lord of the Bible, through the references while going back and forth between the Old and New Testaments with a telescopic perspective. God chose Abraham's descendants (Gal. 3:7 - Abraham's descendants by faith) to be the Lord's people and sent His Son, the Savior, to the promised land. Jesus' blood and water that He shed on the cross testified through the Spirit of truth and saved us (1 John 5:6-8).
