Resident Evil 2 Remake Birkin G1 With One Knife! (Hardcore)

This is a tutorial on how to beat the Birkin G1 fight from Resident Evil 2: Remake. The knife I found is on the Claire B run, in the second floor library of the RPD. Step 1: Lower your resolution to the lowest possible to take advantage of the knife doing more damage at higher frame rates. Step 2: Secure a knife. Infinite Knife works even better. Step 3: Get the grenade at the bottom of the stairway next to the S.T.A.R.S. case. Step 4: Knife Birkin, get his head in it as much as possible. When his eye begins to come out, hit that too. Step 5: 3/4 of the way through the eye animation, step back, throw the grenade (it doesn't matter how physically close you are) Step 6: Keep wailing on him. Worst case, a single gun shot will kill him, should your knife break.
