Civic driver steals parking spot + Petty revenge *Read description*

Parking is extremely packed and competitive at this college, so it's common practice for cars to line up and "camp out" in the parking rows and wait for a spot to open. There are certain time windows when most classes let out, which is when most spots will open. Between these times, you are lucky to get a few stragglers. Generally, the sitting ducks have dibs on any spot that opens in between their own car and the car sitting in front of them. No one (except for a few passive ones) will allow a passing car to take a spot in front of them, even when it is way out in front. They will floor it up to your ass to shut that shit down. Parking lot disputes are extremely common here, mostly involving use of the horn and the vehicle itself, and I have been in a few minor ones myself. This is one of them. I had been sitting where I was for an hour when this passing Civic driver sees a student walking to her car and stops in front of me to take her spot. I did not have a chance to signal and claim the spot before this happened. Either way, most of the students know a spot is off limits when another car is waiting nearby, signal or not. As the whole thing transpired, there were other cars waiting behind us as she was blocking the row. Several minutes had passed since the last set of classes had gotten out, so there were few outgoing students left and I had a difficult time finding another spot afterward. Luckily, I ended up getting a much better spot before my class began. I'm not one to let things go, so I flipped her mirrors after I parked. It is even more satisfying and, frankly, hilarious that she drove off with her mirrors still folded in. I only wish she did not have a passenger so the fix would be even more inconvenient for her.
