PM Modi Raises Dharma Dhwaj At Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir | ISH News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the saffron flag on top of the 191-foot ‘shikhar’ of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on Wednesday, marking the official completion of the Ram Mandir. The ceremony was attended by more than 8,000 people, including Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The flag, called the ‘Dharma Dhwaj’, is 10 feet tall and 20 feet long. It carries the image of a bright Sun, the symbol ‘Om’, and the Kovidara tree. The Sun represents Lord Ram’s Surya Vansh (Solar dynasty), ‘Om’ stands for divinity, and the Kovidara tree is known as the state tree of Ram Rajya. A unique technique used to hoist the flag drew attention from the audience. After the priests completed the Vedic rituals, Prime Minister Modi and Mohan Bhagwat came to a special podium. Beside the folded flag, a hand-shaped structure in a ‘Namaskara’ pose was placed. When both leaders gently moved this symbolic hand towards the flag, a mechanism activated and lifted the flag to the top of the temple. PM Modi looked very emotional during this moment. After the flag was hoisted, the Prime Minister began his address with “Jai Siyavar Ram Chandra, Jai Siyaram.” He said that Ayodhya was once again witnessing history and that the whole of India and the world were filled with the spirit of Ram. He also gave a message to all Indians, saying that if India wants to become a developed nation by 2047 and empower society, then everyone must awaken ‘Ram’ within themselves. With the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaj, the main construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is now complete. The remaining parts of the temple complex will be completed soon. #PMModi #RamMandir #DharmaDhwaj #AyodhyaRamMandir #RamJanmabhoomi #YogiAdityanath #BreakingNews #AyodhyaRamTemple #Deaf #DeafCommunity #IndiaSigningHands #ISH #ISHNews #ISL #IndianSignLanguage #SignLanguage ISH News broadcasts the Daily News and Entertainment online in Deaf-friendly accessible formats which are in Indian Sign Language (ISL), visual images with titles, voice-over and closed-captions.
