How to feel God's nearness! Day 91, Daily Prayer #dailyprayer #Connieprays

Pray with me as we humble ourselves and trust God and seek his plan for our lives! Though the Lord is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud. Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. The Lord will work out his plans for my life – for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don't abandon me, for you made me. Psalm 138:6–8. My help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth! Praise his holy name for he is faithful and will reach out his powerful right hand to save us as we place our trust in him. Lord, I repent for the times when I am not humble, for the times when my heart is full of pride about something I have done or accomplished, not giving you the credit at all. And, Lord, I also repent for the times when I doubt that you will show up in time to save me from the trouble at hand. And one more thing, Lord, I'm sorry for the times that you are trying to reveal your plan to me, and I am resisting because of fear and uncertainty rather than trusting that your plan is far better than my own. Help me to be humble, Lord, and to fully submit my will to yours. Thank you, Lord for reminding us how much you care for the humble. And thank you also for reminding us how you feel about the proud… For you do not draw near to us in our pride, but you keep your distance and that's scary Lord because we need to be right up close to you. Help us to trust you when we are surrounded by troubles and that you will protect us from whatever is going on. You will reach out your powerful right arm and save us because you are faithful and your love endures forever. You made us and you will not abandon us. Let us believe that with our whole heart and trust in you, regardless of what we are facing, regardless of what we see before us for we do not walk by sight, but by faith. And we certainly need your help and your nearness to do that. Rejoice, sing praises to God, give thanks to him in everything for he is faithful and his glory is great! Praise his holy name and sing about his glorious ways! All these things I pray in the name of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and all to the glory of God. Amen.
