LOG Lenten Midweek Service #2 from 3-16-22

The focus of our Worship Service is on the absolute authority Christ, as God the Son, holds over all things, including us and our lives. Our Opening and Closing Hymn #663 "Rise, My Soul, to Watch and Pray" calls us to turn to our Lord whenever affliction and temptation arise who is always present to protect and strengthen you, since He has complete authority over the devil. Our pre-Sermon Hymn #544 "O Love, How Deep" expresses how Christ is God's gift of love to protect us from the power of the devil which He overthrew on the cross. Our Post Sermon Hymn reminds us who fights the spiritual battles for us, the one who conquered sin, death, and the devil on the cross.
