Reverse Scissor Sweep - Using Lapel Lasso Part 2, with lapel choke from the side

Part 2 of the Lapel Lasso Series. When your opponent leans their weight back in while attempting the scissor sweep using the lapel lasso (see part 1    • Scissor Sweep - Using Lapel Lasso, wi...  ), this is a basic counter, which I call reverse scissor. This one is not a gimme. It's important to disrupt their base by pulling their arm when they plant it like a kickstand. Often, when they feel my sweep attempt, they bully back in the first way, in which case I go back to scissor sweep. The other path people choose is to stand up, which then allows you to start playing worm guard, or any of the lapel sweeps using the lasso pre-worm. The choke from the side is nearly the same choke from mount. When I filmed this, Keenan's Lapel Lasso had not yet been added to the Lapel Encyclopedia, so he may have a name for this choke.
