Resident Evil 2 (2019) Easily defeat G2 Birkin quickly on HARDCORE with Claire (PS4)

I couldn't find a consistent method of defeating G2 Birkin (without getting hit) as he always gave me headaches. This is a method for anyone struggling with him on hardcore mode and for those not comfortable using the knife. It's another way of giving yourself a little head start so you can bait him into attacking you on the crane platform and finish him off fast.
