The Downfall of Bethesda: A Quick Summary
Hey everyone! today we'll be talking about the downfall of Bethesda and how they're not really the same company as we all knew and loved. Bethesda is known for making the popular Elder Scrolls games which included classics such as Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. Not only were they known for the Elder Scrolls but they also made Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 which can be considered divisive among fans because many prefer Fallout: New Vegas and that game wasn't even created by Bethesda but instead by Obsidian. This was one of the first signs Bethesda might not have been as good as we initially thought because now another developer was able to create a better version of their game. New Vegas remains a favorite to this day and many even prefer it over Fallout 4. Creation Club also set fuel to fire by making console players pay for mods they wanted instead of making them for free. Now with the release of Fallout 76, which was a rushed and just plain bad games, the distrust for Bethesda increased and Todd Howard went from being beloved, to a liar. How could Todd Howard and Bethesda be loved by everyone, have a good track record with good games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4) go to how they are now and the best they could come up with is Fallout 76? there is a lot of worry for the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield if that's the case. Well, stick around for this quick summary of the downfall of Bethesda!
