AMC Int'l News - Patient Safety day's

With patients' safety and health as its primary concern, Asan Medical Center held the 2nd anniversary of Patient Safety Day, celebrating and introducing its various patient safety activities. Patient Safety Day was established to both emphasize the importance of patient safety and establish a patient safety culture by preventing patient accidents. Performance Improvement Team Yoo Bin presented case studies on patient safety and introduced improvement activities. Professor Lee Sang-il from the Department of Preventive Medicine of the College of Medicine at the University of Ulsan delivered a special lecture under the topic of 'Certification of Medical Institutes and Patient Safety' and reemphasized the importance of patient safety. In addition, exemplary patient safety activities were introduced and shared. At the end of the ceremony, case studies on patient safety were presented with awards for excellent teams. Asan Medical Center has established and systematically managed a patient safety system to provide the best medical services; it has also played a leading role in establishing a patient safety culture through continuous staff education and training.
