This ‘SH*T HOT’ Carrier Break Made My Head Smoke

If you love airplanes, fly them or are thinking about buying one, check out my aircraft review YouTube channel ‪@flybuyeraircraftsales‬ I write a weekly aviation newsletter and would love if you signed up! https://www.flybuyer.com/subscribe This is a video of the first time my Copilot ever attempted a "Sh*t Hot" break in a Navy C-2 Greyhound. On this particular flight, we were coming in to land on the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) aircraft carrier. Normally, a "Sh*t Hot" is something only F/A-18 Super Hornet pilots will sometimes do, and even then, only when they are a very competent "ball flyer." However, I had done them a few times in the past and did my best to help him through the maneuver the best I could. And don’t worry - that’s only vapor you see in the cockpit (not smoke)! It would often happen in the C-2, especially on a hot day.
