Nissan Rogue 2012-2015, Rear Latch Lock Replacement, DIY. Lift gate.
Nissan Rogue 2012-2015 Rear Door Lock/Latch Replacement. This rear door on this SUV has been giving me this problem for the last 3 years. It worsened 2 weeks ago where the door does not catch anymore, so basically, anyone can open the latch despite the car alarm on. Here, I show how I worked on my car. With the help of Amazon, I was able to buy an exact AFTER-MARKET replacement that suited my needs. What you need is a warm day to this this: 1. 10 mm socket wrench 2. flat head screw driver 3. patience. The cost to have this done at a local Nissan dealer is upwards to $500. With a little time, tools(that I know most of you have), and a part that is less than $45, you can save your money towards other things useful. Let me know if you have any questions, but this is a straightforward task. DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A LICENSED CAR MECHANIC.
