Colorado Camping Trip - Stunner Campground, Rio Grande National Forrest, Alamosa River

We go van camping at Stunner Campground near the ghost town of Stunner Colorado in the Rio Grande National Forrest and have an awesome time!!! We sleep in our van and enjoy the awesome Rocky Mountains. Van camping in Colorado is great because it's never too hot. This was our 4th day on our Colorado trip and we had a lot of fun at camp. Camping at altitude can get cold though so bring some mountain friendly clothes :-) Stunner campground is west of Jasper, Colorado, deep in the Rio Grande National Forrest. This campground is within walking distance of the Alamosa River... While it's very remote, the camp ground still had clean vault toilets.
