What I wish I knew before college decisions
In this video I discuss how to react to college decisions. When I applied to college I remember being really anxious before receiving my college decisions because I felt like this would determine a large part of my future. College is the first time where we really are becoming adults and as a result we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to go to the best college or get into our dream school. As someone that did not get into my dream school and ended up going to my safety school, I want to share that it's okay to not get into your dream school. If you do, that is wonderful but where you go is one part of your journey in life. Ultimately life is not an event and therefore although this is a big moment in your life, and I understand you being anxious you will be fine regardless of where you go or what you do. As a junior in college I would recommend that you focus on being the best version of yourself right now. If you do that throughout life you will live a great life. ____________________________________________________________________ WHO AM I? ♻️ Hi ~ I'm Kenya :) I'm a junior honors marketing student at Howard University.
