6th Sunday of Easter - 5/5/2024 (2nd service)
Dear Members of Our Faithful Community, Grace and peace to you on this Sixth Sunday of Easter, as we come together in worship to continue our journey through this season of joy and anticipation. As we approach the culmination of the Easter season and the celebration of Pentecost, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the outpouring of God's love and grace upon us. On this Sunday, we are reminded of Jesus' promise to His disciples: "If you love me, keep my commandments." In these words, we find both a challenge and an invitation—to live lives marked by obedience to the teachings of Christ and by love for one another. As followers of Jesus, we are called to embody His love in all that we do, bearing witness to the transformative power of God's grace in the world. As we reflect on our call to love and obedience, may we be inspired to live lives that reflect the love of Christ in our relationships, our communities, and our world. Let us be agents of reconciliation, peace, and justice, seeking to build God's kingdom here on earth. May this Sixth Sunday of Easter be a time of deepening commitment to Christ's commandments and to the work of His kingdom, as we await the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. With Easter blessings and the assurance of God's presence, St. George Worship Team
