Diesel price cut by Sh10 in latest fuel review
Motorists are set to enjoy lower fuel costs after diesel prices were reduced by Sh10 in the latest review, bringing the maximum retail price in Nairobi to KSh222.86 per litre. Super petrol will now retail at KSh214.03 per litre following a 22-cent reduction, while kerosene remains unchanged at KSh191.38 per litre. The government attributed the diesel price cut to the release of approximately Sh10 billion from the Petroleum Development Levy Fund to cushion consumers, with the new prices taking effect from midnight and remaining in force for the next 30 days.
