Drawing from other vaporwave subgenre tropes this may very well be one of desert sand's most interesting releases as it portrays some of his earlier sound experiments, as he states himself: Very different from my current albums, at that point in time I was still unsure about what sound I was going for... While radically different as a whole from any of his more popular and emotion ridden releases, there are hints of his newer style and taste for sampled melodies throughout more than a few of ✰​​.​​wav's tracks, making for a pretty nostalgic listening experience reminiscent through its use of more common tropes of more "classic" vaporwave releases.
