Mix the ingredients together to form a dough. Knead the dough until it passes the windowpane test (stretch a piece of dough, and it should form a thin membrane without tearing). Once the dough is smooth and elastic, cover it and let it proof for 8 to 12 hours at room temperature. After proofing, punch down the dough to release any air bubbles. Roll the dough out and cut it into small circles. Shape each circle into a bow-tie shape, as shown in the video. Let the shaped dough proof again until it doubles in size. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Brush the dough with an egg wash or milk wash. Bake the bow tie bread in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
