This performance features Michael Jackson during his second consecutive night in Rome. Keep in mind that this is not the show from the professionally filmed release; it’s a different date. I attempted to stabilize the footage, but unfortunately, it only worked until about halfway through "Human Nature." "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" – A standard performance, nothing too special but well-executed. "This Place Hotel" – There's an interesting moment at 6:32; you can tell Michael’s voice is still a bit rough. "Another Part of Me" – At the start, the cameraman focuses on the backing vocalists. You can notice Michael running out of breath at a few points during the song. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" – A typical rendition, no notable differences. "She's Out of My Life" – … "Jackson 5 Medley" – Vocally weak, not one of his better moments. "Rock With You" – The lighting from a distance looks stunning and very vibrant. There’s an interesting move he does at 30:17. "Human Nature" – Standard performance without any significant deviations. "Smooth Criminal" – The playback cuts off much earlier than usual, likely due to a hand signal Michael gives right before it happens. He seemed a bit lost for a moment. "Dirty Diana" – Madison Square Garden, New York style. He forgot the lyrics at the exact same spot as before, even delivering the lines in a similar way. Still, it was a strong performance overall; his phrasing was good in parts, though some lines felt out of place. "Thriller" – Another standard rendition, nothing particularly unique. "Workin' Day and Night" – Something unexpected happened here at 56:40. The usual pause where everyone freezes didn’t go as planned; Ricky seemed to miss the cue and kept playing, while Michael stood completely still like a statue. You can see some of the others in the background moving around "Beat It" – 1:00:55 Almost Michael! I also feel like there’s another issue with this performance, but I can’t quite pinpoint it. "Billie Jean" – I really like the lighting here, and it’s cool to see Sheryl at 1:08:01, acting as the “inner voice.” Her voice sounds great, particularly at 1:08:30. There’s a sharp "hoo!" at 1:09:16 that stands out. Oddly enough, the crowd seems a bit quieter than usual in some parts. His movements during this performance are quite interesting. "Bad" – I have the impression that the backing vocals felt more live in these earlier tour performances. I enjoyed Michael’s dance steps and adlibs here. It was a great performance overall, but Michael forgets Jennifer’s name, and the sound of her guitar appears completely muted. "The Way You Make Me Feel" – A standard performance, a bit underwhelming compared to usual "Man in the Mirror" – This was an intriguing rendition.
