Project Diablo 2, season 8: budget Fury Druid vs Ubers

Hello! Project Diablo 2 season 8 started recently, I figured it may be time to show what I've been up recently :) Plan for this season was to get out of my comfort zone and play classes that I've been somehow avoiding in PD2 (druid, necro, barb or paladin). Instead of playing one of my usual "girls" (zon/sin/sorc), my first char was druid. Fury Wolf, slowly walked solo all the way to Hell using self found gear. Although after beating Hell Baal I lifted those "restrictions" and traded a little (but not that much, since I hate trading) and every now and then teamed up with friends to get some more XP in maps. Still, my gear is very very budget and I'm ok with that. This season I don't really have much time to play and I'd rather slowly upgrade instead of pushing like crazy and burning out after few weeks. We still have months until s9 will start! Anyway, this video is a mini showcase of my druid vs Ubers. I knew that Fury wolves are great for the task, but I was still a bit hesitant to do such content, I wasn't sure if my cheap gear and rather low experience with this class will make it somewhat hard to do Uber Tristram. Turns out it's easy even with my random items and in my unskilled hands. I swapped few skillers for res charms, rest of the gear is basically what I'm using for maps. Obviously at some point it will change for better (hopefully!), but for now I'm quite content with what I've managed to put on this char. GhostDog, lvl 96 Druid: weapon: 5os Reaper's Toll (4x Shael + 39%ED jewel) armor: Fortitude helm: Jalal's Mane, fire res corruption, 1os (39%ED/15 max dmg jewel) gloves: Lava Gout 39%ED corruption belt: Verdungo's, MF corruption boots: Waterwalk, cold res corruption amulet: Metalgrid, fire res corruption rings: Raven Frost, dexterity corruption // rare ring with mana leech, AR, all res and a bit of life on swap: CtA + Lidless Inventory: druid torch, anni, skillers, res charms Mercenary (temporary one): a1 Physical merc (Magic Arrow+Strafe+Slow Movement) using: Mist crossbow, Gloom armor, Andariel's helm, ED/life leech bolts, Hellmouth gloves, String of Ears belt, Treads of Chton boots. Merc's gear is pretty random, but it's enough for mapping. I think I will upgrade her gear soon or will swap for Vigor merc or different kind all together. I kind of miss my last season's a4 healer - he was great for group mapping! That's pretty much all for now. I know it's nothing crazy surprising, but I'm actually excited to play this class & build and it feels fresh comparing to yet another Amazon or Assassin. So I wanted to share a little of this joy ^^ If you have any questions about the build or PD2 in general, let me know, I'll do my best to help. See you in maps!
