Pammal Sambanda Mudaliar - a 150th year tribute | History Times with Historian V Sriram
The resurgence of Tamil drama in the late 19th century owed much to Pammal Sambanda Mudaliar and the Suguna Vilasa Sabha he founded. He was a lawyer who became Judge of the Small Causes Court. He was also the hereditary trustee of the Kapaliswarar Temple and was instrumental in the construction of the gopuram.
