Chicken Florentine Crepes are a savory dish combining tender chicken, creamy spinach and a rich, flavorful sauce, all wrapped in delicate crepes. The combination of the tender crepes, flavorful chicken, creamy spinach, and rich sauce creates a dish that's elegant and satisfying, perfect for brunch, lunch, or a light dinner. Here's a detailed breakdown: Ingredients: Chicken cut into lengthwise pieces: 500 g Spinach: 360 g Mushrooms: 250 g Shallots: 15-20 pcs Garlic: 6 cloves Crushed dried red chillies: 1 tsp Salt & pepper: as needed Flour : 1 cup for the crepes, plus 3/4 cup for the bechamel Butter: 60 gm Egg: 1 whole --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marinate the chicken in lemon juice, pepper & salt and add in some AP FLOUR to create a coating to fry these lightly after 30 mins of marination. Make a Bechamel sauce with 60 g butter, 3/4 cup of flour and 300 ml of milk & 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Prepare the Crepe filling with by Sauteing shallots, garlic, mushrooms, spinach and by mixing in the cheesy bechamel sauce. Make a thin crepe batter, by adding 1 cup of flour, 1 egg, Milk and water mixture and some salt to taste. Make the Crepes. Then assemble the crepes with the chicken filling. Drizzle with your favorite topping, it can be sweet like with a pancake syrup or cheesy as with the bechamel sauce we made in this recipe.
